Hawking radiation in a -dimensional static spherically-symmetric black Hole surrounded by quintessence
We present a solution of Einstein equations with quintessential matter
surrounding a -dimensional black hole, whose asymptotic structures are
determined by the state of the quintessential matter. We examine the
thermodynamics of this black hole and find that the mass of the black hole
depends on the equation of state of the quintessence, while the first law is
universal. Investigating the Hawking radiation in this black hole background,
we observe that the Hawking radiation dominates on the brane in the low-energy
regime. For different asymptotic structures caused by the equation of state of
the quintessential matter surrounding the black hole, we learn that the
influences by the state parameter of the quintessence on Hawking radiation are
different.Comment: 16 pages, Accepted for publication in Phys. Rev.
Scalar emission in a rotating G\"{o}del black hole
We study the absorption probability and Hawking radiation of the scalar field
in the rotating G\"{o}del black hole in minimal five-dimensional gauged
supergravity. We find that G\"{o}del parameter imprints in the greybody
factor and Hawking radiation. It plays a different role from the angular
momentum of the black hole in the Hawking radiation and super-radiance. These
information can help us know more about rotating G\"{o}del black holes in
minimal five-dimensional gauged supergravity.Comment: 14 pages, 4 figures, This version accepted for publication in Phys.

Retraction and Generalized Extension of Computing with Words
Fuzzy automata, whose input alphabet is a set of numbers or symbols, are a
formal model of computing with values. Motivated by Zadeh's paradigm of
computing with words rather than numbers, Ying proposed a kind of fuzzy
automata, whose input alphabet consists of all fuzzy subsets of a set of
symbols, as a formal model of computing with all words. In this paper, we
introduce a somewhat general formal model of computing with (some special)
words. The new features of the model are that the input alphabet only comprises
some (not necessarily all) fuzzy subsets of a set of symbols and the fuzzy
transition function can be specified arbitrarily. By employing the methodology
of fuzzy control, we establish a retraction principle from computing with words
to computing with values for handling crisp inputs and a generalized extension
principle from computing with words to computing with all words for handling
fuzzy inputs. These principles show that computing with values and computing
with all words can be respectively implemented by computing with words. Some
algebraic properties of retractions and generalized extensions are addressed as
well.Comment: 13 double column pages; 3 figures; to be published in the IEEE

Insight into the liquid state of organo-lead halide perovskites and their new roles in dye-sensitized solar cells
Here we report that organo-lead halide perovskite CH3NH 3PbI(3-x)Clx solution can be used as a new liquid electrolyte in dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs). We find that the presence of inorganic octahedra of [PbX6]4- (X = I or Cl, or a combination of them) in this perovskite solution can not only remarkably improve the device stability but also enhance the photo-response of DSCs
